Helle Borg and Glenn Bigum established Borg & Bigum in 1984. They drove round to companies, selling matchboxes and ballpens with logos. Before long, they bought a skip full of T-shirts. After eight years, the company’s first core values – perseverance and willingness to take a risk – had generated a turnover that topped DKK 100 million. Borg & Bigum rapidly became Denmark’s largest vendor of promotional items.

Now, over 20 years later, Glenn Bigum, still the company’s principal shareholder, is in the process of handing over the reins of his business. Today, the present executive board members are co-shareholders. Turnover has reached DKK 200 million, and Borg & Bigum ranks among Scandinavia’s leading companies. With subsidiaries and offices in Stockholm, Sweden, and in Oslo, Norway, plus the newly established office in Hong Kong, Borg & Bigum is well-positioned to become Scandinavia’s leading company.
